The brake pads in your Honda are the part of the brake assembly that provides the friction that eventually slows the car down to a stop. The brake pads are attached to the brake calipers and when the brake pedal is depressed by the driver, the brake pads are squeezed against the rotor and create the friction which is needed to slow the car down. If your brake pads are getting worn out, you may notice that there is less than a quarter inch of the brake pad left when you examine them through the spokes of the wheel. You could hear squealing or screeching when you brake. This can be from the brake pad wear indicators that are built into the parts. Any changes in how your brake system feels should also be a cause for you to check them and make sure they are running properly. You might find that your car is taking longer to come to a stop or pulling to the side when doing so. If you need to find replacement brake pads for your car, you can find Honda brake pads here. We have OEM Honda brake pads that are made with high quality materials, so you can count on them to last a long time.
